Review of Rocky Horror

Our first review is in for The Rocky Horror Show. As my frequent visitors and friends know - Rocky opened last weekend at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts Center on Vassar Street in Poughkeepsie. I'm thrilled that the energy of the cast and the humor came through. It was a interesting journey ... but read the review:

"... Adult themes aside, Trinity has staged a musical that is extremely entertaining. From the moment you walk into the theater, you are greeted by ghoulish ushers and usherettes with pale faces, scarlet lips, leather corsets and fishnet stockings. If it is your first time seeing "Rocky Horror," don't tell the ushers because they will be sure to out you as a 'virgin.' "

And my favorite bit:

"The production, directed by Corso, features an extremely talented ensemble of powerful singers, that played to last Saturday's full house like rock stars at The Garden."

They did rock the house Saturday. The weekend is going to be even better.
