As suspected the Bardavon and UPAC are merging. What does this mean to the local theater community? I think this is a positive development, as the Bardavon has been very active in promoting shows and events, UPAC has been a little weak in that area. Since the two will be managed by the same team, I hope there will be better visibility for events at UPAC.
The Bardavon will be renovating this fall (stage infostructure) and will be dark until November - so the season will be able to start on schedule in October at UPAC, which is wonderful!
